Your nick is protected by a password, so you can update the same record later
when you beat your score.
The server checks the CFG signature, version and checksum before accepting the score. This verifies that the file has the expected game format. It is not a strong anti-cheat system yet. Newer CFG files can also include a games-played counter and selected control mode; older files show the extra values as unknown/default.
